In IT Sourcing and Vendor Management we are focusing on reducing risk, securing compliance, creating beneficial relations and managing total cost in relation to our external suppliers. We are accountable for all sourcing for the Internal IT-functions as well as we are responsible for coordination, competence, sourcing support, tools, processes etc, within the Schibsted Group. We are negotiating everything from small license extensions to strategic company wide multi-million USD frame agreements. We are today a competent organisation and we are now looking for someone who can join us on the journey to become an even better organisation.
In the role as a Junior Sourcing Manager you will lead and deliver strategic sourcing projects, supplier relationship management, contract management and renegotiations of existing agreements. You are responsible for analyzing procurement data, investigating business and market opportunities, developing sourcing category strategies and leading efforts to implement the strategies together with stakeholders.
In this role you are expected to identify and execute strategic sourcing projects of high business value to business stakeholders as well as to encourage stakeholders to be compliant with agreements, policies and performance objectives. As a Junior Sourcing Manager you will manage smaller opportunities by yourself and work with others more experienced on larger opportunities. You will truly get the chance to develop and grow in this area.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the entire process for bringing in new suppliers, e.g. RFX and negotiations
- Analysing spend, contracts, market etc. and suggest actions
- Contract renewals
- Managing the supplier relationship
- Contributing to development of the sourcing and vendor management organisation'
- Quality assurance
Requirements:
- Preferably up to two years experience from either IT sourcing, IT sales, as an IT consultant or working in an IT organisation.
- Strong interest in technology and business.
- Interest in law and ability to read contract text
- Good understanding of IT in a wide perspective
- Ability to speak Swedish or Norwegian is beneficial.
Education:
- Strong educational background with a Bachelor/Master in an analytical field such as Technology, Business or Law.
Profile:
- Strong negotiation, relationship, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Basic understanding of the technology and services delivered by the vendor
- Knowledge of the market and vendor landscape
- Understanding of best practices and methodology used for efficient Vendor Management
- Ability to communicate with IT users and business leaders to understand requirements, expectations and value measures
