Your role
Due to continuous growth and development, Bombardier is seeking a Software Engineer who will be responsible for the development of their PC based SW tools. They need to strengthen their development of tools in order for their customers to work more efficiently with their internally developed embedded products. You will be part of a product development team with SW and HW Engineers but primarily focus on development of PC SW for Bombardier's tools. This role requires innovative design of smart tools features in close cooperation with Bombardier's internal tool customers and development engineers.
Role challenges:
• Make the usage of a complex control system simple and efficient by developing smart tools well integrated with the embedded product.
• Creation of highest quality SW in a complex system.
• Take a leading role in Bombardier's SW tools strategy and architecture of new features.
• Be innovative and part of the teams continuous improvements on methods and development tools.
• Understand the customers' needs and convert that into innovative tool solutions.

Qualifications and requirements
Your experience and qualifications:
• Passion for SW development and drive for continuous learning.
• Qualification in a relevant computer science discipline.
• Fluent Swedish and English skills.
Additional good merits:
• Experience in developing applications using the Eclipse Rich Client Platform.
• Experience in Java.
• Experience in PC SW development using MS Visual Studio.
• Used to document your work.
Your personality
We are looking for a proactive and innovative candidate who is thorough and flexible in the everyday work. You are result-orientated, structured and have a passion for SW development I general.
Further details
This is a full time permanent employment with start date as soon as possible. To begin with, you will be employed by Hero and work as a consultant at Bombardier located in Årstadal. After six months, if your job performance is sufficient, you will be recruited by Bombardier.
