Description
To be successful we believe you are driven, structured and have a passion for both web design and programming with a focus on front-end but with competence also about the back-end setup. You strive to write code that has high quality and that will be time efficient to maintain. A good sense of troubleshooting in an independent way is necessary. You have good communication skills and a great understanding in business needs. Solid experience with WordPress and best practices along with good skills in CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript is required. Good knowledge of working with themes and plug-ins for WordPress is appropriate. It is advantageous if you have worked in a Scrum based way of working before.
Work tasks
• Work with UI/UX/web design for the the Clients site; create designs for new/updated pages and/or sections, components etc. Update design documentation when needed.
• Front-end development of the Clients site; new/updated pages and components
• Work together with the Product Team according to the sprint plan set by the Product Owner and the team
• Verify/Test development done by other developers.
• Write documentation, when required.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• 3-5 years of experience working with UI/UX/web design
• Experienced using a design system and related tools such as Storybook
• Experienced of running usability studies
• Experienced in visual design, e.g. grid system, component system
• 3-5 years of experience as WordPress Developer
• CSS
• JavaScript & jQuer0079
• TypeScript
• React or Angular (or similar)
• Responsive design
• Experience in also back-end work, for example setting up and maintaining web sites with Azure
• Experience in working with web security
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English, oral and written
Preferred competence and experience:
• Scrum way of working
• PHP
• Python
• Usability research
• Visual design
