Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Junior Software Developer with interest in Cloud Native Technologies and Microservice Architectures. Like you, we believe software is more than just a job! Furthermore, we believe you are results-oriented, curious, innovative and collaborative. It 's a plus if you have previous knowledge on software Container Fundamentals and some working experience with Kubernetes, but overall a passion to learn and develop new skills.
We stand at the forefront of Agile software development, using methods like Lean and Scrum to create a product that excels. Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing, international and highly independent. This requires maturity and a 'team first' approach, which may not be right for everyone, but which we believe is the best way to build great software.
We are constantly improving our ways of working. We are not perfect and not afraid to say so. We are on a journey, and we know we have many problems to tackle, and we need to learn new things on the way!
You will
Be part of a high-performance team in charge of analyzing, implementing and verifying requirements on microservices
To be successful in the role you must have
M.Sc. level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
Talent and passion for software development, problem-solving and computer systems. You love to discuss software and are comfortable about sharing this knowledge
Familiarity with Cloud Native principles e.g. Scalability, Automation, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Kubernetes and Helm charts
Programming skills in for example Go, Python or Scripting
Version control experience in GIT/Gerrit
A troubleshooting attitude
A curious demeanor and strive to continuously develop your knowledge
Customer focus and ambition to understand needs on developed features
Excellent communication skills
Good working TDD and other agile experience as it is needed for our organization
