The products we develop at Ericsson Packet Core are in the heart of the mobile network. Our mobility control plane teams enable mobile connectivity by managing all the network-internal signaling needed to establish and maintain the connections our societies rely on. Right now, we're hard at work building the functionality of the 5G core networks while also improving on 4G.
What you will do
With us, you would be joining one of our ten local development teams where you and 4-5 colleagues take an end-to-end responsibility for features, including requirement analysis, system design, development, and verification according to our feature development process. You will also become part of a large international organization and collaborate with colleagues in both Europe and Asia.
You will bring
A Master's or Bachelors degree in Computer Software Engineering or similar field.
A solid understanding of software development principles and good software craftsmanship.
A good grasp of computer network communication protocols.
Proven skills in the Erlang language, other functional languages, or at minimum a keen interest to learn and master this.
A willingness to work with all parts of industrial software development, including requirements, analysis, documentation, presentations, coding, and verification.
A love for teamwork and a readiness to both learn and share.
