Job Description
Are you a Junior designer who love Kids Shoe Design? Do you enjoy working in an international and creative team with great fashion forward products on a daily basis? We design all sorts of styles including sneakers - which we hope you love as much as we do! Then junior shoe designer might be a great chance to expand your design career.
The Role:
Our Kids Shoe Design department is looking for a Junior Shoe Designer, who will be responsible for assisting the Product Designer and working together with our global team. You will need to stay on top of the fashion as well as license trends and take design actions accordingly together with the team. The role involves creating technical flat sketches, produce and update overviews and color charts, assist with fittings and adjustments, as well as detail follow up with production. You will be involved in developing our girls and boys kids shoe collections for ages 1-14years old. Our collections are sold omni channel worldwide in all H&M markets! We create all shoe styles including many popular license products.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
A BA/MA degree in Fashion, Shoe or Product Design
A minimum of 1-2 years work experience within footwear or product design
Strong and fast paced skills in Adobe Suite programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
3D CLO work experience is meriting
License product design experience is meriting
A strong understanding for and awareness of forward fashion trends
A creative, visionary yet commercial mindset with a true passion for fashion
A strong salesmanship and highly result oriented
Strong communication skills and used to work in teams
Thrives in a fast-paced and everchanging work environment
A strong self drive and can take own initiatives
Fluent in English (Swedish not necessary)
