We are looking for a motivated Junior Security Specialist to join the Schibsted Central Security Team in Stockholm, Sweden. The Junior Security Specialist will work in a diverse team to develop and maintain security awareness, governance, risk, and compliance management and organize and host internal security events.
Your main responsibilities will include the following:
Develop, maintain and implement security awareness training across the organization
- Monitor and review existing security policies, procedures, and standards
- Provide guidance on security governance, risk, and compliance management
- Research and provide insight on best practices and emerging trends in security
- Help develop and implement security processes and procedures
- Coordinate and host security-related internal events
- Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness campaigns
- Assist in the design and implementation of security frameworks
- Assist in the development and implementation of security audits
- Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans
- Provide security training and guidance to staff
- Assist in the compilation of security reports
We would like you to have most of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related experience in the field
- Working knowledge of security principles, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS
- Knowledge of security tools, such as SIEM and IDS/IPS systems
- Knowledge of security technologies, such as encryption and access control
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of security technologies and tools global, multicultural environment
- Fluency in English and Swedish preferred
