About the job
We are hiring a Junior Security Analyst to strengthen the Polarium IT team. In this role you will focus om maintaining policy document management, version, and document control. You will be performing security awareness trainings to employees and will be expected to keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments.
The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden
Responsibilities:
• Support the IT support team with identifying and classifying security threats.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and monitoring systems, networks, for potential breaches.
• Support with vendor or external consultants risk management including maintaining third party questionnaires and collect responses.
• Perform internal audits among the organization making sure the security controls are implemented.
• Investigate security alerts and provide incident response.
• Carry out Vulnerability Assessments and communicate the deviations to IT support team
• Being part of the (IRT) Incident Response Team, document the incidents from initial detection through final resolution.
• Monitor systems and networks for any unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
• Monitor and respond to 'phishing' emails attempts.
• Support the creation of monthly reports for both technical and non-technical staff
Qualification and experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or another related program
Experience in information security or related field.
Certification in security management
• ISO27001 experience is a plus
Traits & Abilities:
• Understands patch management system with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner combined with understanding of business impact
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, antivirus, VPN concepts
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Good oral and written communication skills
