Stena Line's People & Communication department has a crucial part in this journey. We work together to build strong HR processes and consists of HR professionals working with talent management, rehabilitation and general HR issues with our most important asset's, our people, best in mind. Recruiting the right talent for the future is of utmost importance to build a strong organisation so we are strengthening the team.
What will you do?
Well, most of our staff works at sea. So we need someone who can safeguard a great candidate experience and make sure we recruit the right talent for the Scandinavian on-board organisation. It will be your main responsibility to ensure the inflow of new sea recruits by independently plan and conduct recruitment processes together with HR Business Partners and on-board managers. We'll need some help getting everything in place and in order, so we hope you enjoy contributing to creating a thorough process always with a One Company approach in mind. You will also be involved in Employer Branding activities, being a true ambassador of Stena Line and how we want to be perceived as an employer.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Independently conduct requested recruitment processes on all levels within the onboard organisation
• Participate in development and implementation of our onboard recruitment processes in line with Stena Line's employer brand and One company approach
• Administrative tasks such as contracts, uniforms, staff cards, training and so forth included in the recruitment process
• Actively work to safeguard Stena Line's employer brand in all recruitment processes
• Participate in employer branding activities for onboard organisation
• Support and when needed participate in seasonal recruitments and other recruitment processes within Stena Line Scandinavia
Who are you?
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. We are looking for someone with a can-do mind-set with your own drive to create results and who are open to new challenges. You have a great ability to work independently with parallel processes at the same time. Being flexible and able to prioritise is key, always staying on top of things! You are a social chameleon that can communicate with different people throughout the organisation and a proud company ambassador. In this role your ability to handle administrative tasks in a structured, detail-oriented way with the bigger picture in mind will come in handy.
The must-have's:
• 1 year experience from working with recruitment preferably blue collar
• Bachelor degree within Human Resources or similar
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken
• Experience from shipping is an advantage
• Experience from recruitment systems and assessment tools is definately a plus!
