Consultant assignment as Junior Scientific Expert
On behalf of our client we are now looking for a candidate to work in a team to contribute to the outbreak response activities, in a multi-cultural organisation. This assignment is placed in Stockholm.
The role
The role as Jr scientific expert is administrative and will focused on Vaccine Preventable Diseases and in particularly childhood diseases.
The assignment is planned to start from 01 of July and last until the end of the year 2015, with chance to be prolonged to a total length of 12 months.
Main working tasks may include;
• Contribute to the collection, validation, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of data on Vaccine Preventable Diseases
• Communicate routine surveillance data in a timely manner via peer-reviewed publications, presentations at conferences, reports and web content
• Develop and support projects in the area of Vaccine Preventable diseases, particularly the impact of vaccination on childhood diseases
• Assist with liaising with national and international bodies involved in the surveillance of Vaccine Preventable Diseases
• Assist in the monitoring and administration of projects
• Assist with liaising with national and international bodies involved in the surveillance of Vaccine Preventable Diseases

Qualification
• Degree at university level, or equivalent, in relevant natural science
• Public Health background and experience related to the aforementioned duties would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English

• Attention to details, highly organized,
