Junior Sales Support Officer GOT

Key Responsibilities.

You will have responsibility for handling our bookings of our Liner Cargo (i.e. non-contractual cargo) in order to fulfil customer satisfaction in line with the company policies and daily operational requirements. You take bookings from customers and enter into our booking system and answer customers' questions about our schedules, space and terminal closing time.

Booking of cargo and internal coordination

• Data input of all customer, cargo and freight details into our booking system - including updating of same due to e.g. changes in cargo delivery or vessel changes.
• Coordinate with our Documentation Department in order to avoid and correct mistakes between the bookings and the final B/L & Manifest details.

Personal attributes
You are probably in the beginning of your career. You have a genuine passion for shipping and have excellent attention to detail. Your enthusiasm and hunger to learn more coupled with your good communication skill will make you successful in this role.

Experience/Qualifications
This role is an entry level role where experience is not required with the right personal attributes. However, some experience in a customer facing role and an understanding of shipping is of merit.
