The position is based at Lindholmen Science Park, located just 10 minutes away from Göteborg City Center. Lindholmen Science Park is the most dynamic development area in Göteborg. It is a part of the north riverbank in Göteborg, where a new city district is being built up in the old harbour areas. The aim is to create increased innovation, international competitiveness and growth for the entire area. Today 18 000 people are working or studying at Lindholmen. Lindholmen is the home for approximately 2.000 Ericsson co-workers.
Job description
Together in a closely knit team, your tasks will be to develop and improve power supply solutions and implement new technologies required to insure the technology leadership for Ericsson. The job includes requirement handling, design and verification of power-supply solutions for telecom applications. You will deal with the design of DC/DC converters, POL, EMI filters, protection circuitry, supervision and control functions. More importantly, you'll be part of a design team that is passionate about its people and its technology. We work in R&D projects in close cooperation with designers from other disciplines in countries all over the world.
Qualifications
BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or relevant KY education..
Interest of analog electric design and switched power supplies or audio amplifiers
Experience of EDA tools in schematic drawing and practical experience of handling measurement instrumentation in a laboratory environment is regarded as an extra plus.
Experience of digital design and firmware/software is also regarded as an extra plus .
Fluent in English.
You have an analytical approach, a strong drive for results and customer focus. You have good communication and co-operation skills and the ability to take the initiative and adapt to new methods and techniques. Most of all you have an inquisitive mind, and a thirst for knowledge.
