Veolia Water Technologies (AnoxKaldnes) is a company working with waste water treatment. The company has extensive research within the area, and to our R&D department we are now looking for a junior R&D Engineer to work with the operation and follow up of pilot plants and laboratory tests.
As a junior R&D Engineer you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance as well as follow up of the performance of pilot and laboratory tests. As part of our R&D team you will have an active role in several different projects. You will plan the project activities together with the project team and we trust that you will be active in suggesting operational changes to optimize the process.
Main duties:
• Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of pilot and laboratory tests
• Responsible for following up the performance through sampling and analyses
• Communicate and discuss the progress of the tests with the project manager
• Together with the project team plan the activities within the project
• Independently perform planned activities.
• Report and communicate achieved results
Qualifications
You like practical work and have the ability to analyse achieved results. You have an interest in biological waste water treatment and find R&D and laboratory work exciting.
Education
You have an education corresponding to either a Master of Science or a Bachelor for example in environmental engineering, biotechnology or chemical engineering, preferably with a specialisation in waste water treatment. You probably graduated recently or have worked a couple of years within similar field of activities.
Additional Requirements
You are well familiar with written and spoken English and you have a driver?s license valid in Sweden.
Experience from biological waste water treatment is an advantage.
You will be based in Lund, Sweden and you report directly to the Manager in R&D -Municipal, Industry & Biogas.
