Job Description
Are you a newly graduated engineer interested in a challenging but developing assignment at a company with sustainability in their DNA? Look no further!
AFRY is currently undergoing substantial changes regarding the IT environment. Old and slow solutions are replaced with modern software with more capability and finesse. One very important upgrade is that of the ERP-system. The upgrade will be done in steps, based on the geographical location of AFRY offices.
As a project coordinator your role will be to support the roll-out teams with the roll-out of the ERP-solution. These teams have different geographical locations and might run into different challenges. It could be anything from aiding the organization in trainings to validate updates.
You will be stationed at AFRY headquarters in Solna but will have contact with project members internationally. Opportunity for international travel and work when rolling out the new ERP-solution a couple of years ahead. Currently the majority of the work can be performed from a distance but possibility to work 100% from Solna-office is expected.
Qualifications
To get a good start at us we believe that you are a newly graduated engineer, ready for an exciting challenge! Preferably you have a M.Sc. in industrial engineering.
Since the project is working in an international environment your English needs to be fluent. Speaking Swedish is considered very meritorious.
We are looking for someone with excellent presentation and communication skills. Since you will have a coordinating role, good knowledge of MS Office and online collaboration tools such as Teams and Sharepoint are necessary.
Basic understanding of IT-development and a general interest in IT topics are needed. Learning new systems comes naturally to you and you are able to quickly get up to speed to support more senior employees with various tasks.
Since travel is possible at a later stage, eagerness to travel and working internationally is required.
As a person you should be:
• Able to think and act on your own - a personal drive and ability to take ownership of the role is a must
• Eager to contribute - not be afraid to reach out and sometimes "nag" a little to gain progress.
• Organized - notice possible discrepancies and make sure they are handled accordingly
The ERP project will hopefully run for many years and if you perform satisfactory during your temporary employment you will get the opportunity to participate during the entire roll-out.
