We take care of the overall transportation and logistics needs through environmentally labeled transportation and third party logistics services.
Are you a self-driven professional with the right balance of analytical, creative and social skills, and with relevant experience to be our Junior Program Manager in a major program for change?
Our customer needs you in a transformation program into profitability. The projects within the change program reach from operational excellence over setting up new ways to work to achieving synergies by centralization. You are directly supporting the Director of Business Restructuring in managing the Program Management Office (PMO). As a Junior Program Manager you always have the up to date picture of the program itself, but you are also steering the interdependencies between the different projects and our line organization. You have a significant and challenging role in supporting the different project managers to deliver their projects on time and budget.
Job responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain an overall, consistent and always up to date program plan working towards the program's target
• Monitor timelines, milestones, quantitative and qualitative deliverables of the different projects
• Identify intra-project dependencies and work with key stakeholders to ensure cross-project and cross company alignment
• Act as an interface between projects and the financial department to ensure a tight financial follow up of the program
• Drive the risk management process of the program
• Prepare and drive program status meetings and eventually steering committees
• Support the stakeholder communication and make sure that documentation is always updated and accurate
Your background:
You have probably 3-5 years of experience in a similar position within a PMO or in a management consultancy firm and see this as a great opportunity to develop your program management skills and grow in to a more senior role.
As a person you are collaborative, outspoken and independent with strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders. You have the ability to analyze and understand complex structures processes and have good knowledge in project management tools and methods.
