Electrolux Consumables & Accessories (ECA)After sales of consumables and accessories is a very important area in the sector. Main part of our sales consists of dust bags, filters and cleaning accessories for electrical appliances such as vacuum cleaners, and kitchen appliances.

Product range consists of 4000 consumable and accessory products. Original branded products for the Electrolux original branded appliances (Electrolux, AEG, Tornado, Volta, Zanussi Eureka and Progress) and Menalux branded products for appliances under other brands.Product range development & content admin. With focus on consumables and accessories, such as dust bags, filters, nozzles, hoses and other after sales products for vacuum cleaners & small kitchen appliances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

The Product Portfolio Assistant is responsible for overall range development operations, mainly:

• Develop new global products in close collaboration with our suppliers & internal cross functional teams.
• Update the existing range of products to keep an optimized product range to satisfy the need on a global level.
• Support Introduction of new products and product concepts in close cooperation with regional and/or local sales organizations and the regional C&A teams.
• Create and adapt product marketing materials to support the business development needs for new business opportunities, including product presentations, brochures, catalogues, POS and other relevant materials.
• Update and develop packaging layouts and instruction manuals in cooperation with agencies/ADs
• Provide product information & training of sales staff.A competitive range of consumables and accessories for vacuum cleaners and small appliances, including supporting product marketing materials.

Together with main responsibilities the assignment involves:
• Working in an international and multi-cultural environment
• Problem solving, being creative and working to deadlines
• Ability to build strong working relationships with people throughout the organization
• Opportunity to work in an international environment with development of consumer products in close connection to C&A teams in Europe, APAC, LAM and NAM, and internal functions such as Design, R&D,
• Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Communication, Sales Companies and Suppliers.
• Get insight and develop contacts within the world's largest producer of vacuum cleaners.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, with focus on marketing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Interest in product creation/development, ideally understanding FMCG and/or durables business
• Focused and structured
• A keen eye for detail and structured approach to managing complicated product information.
• Creative and problem solving mindset with interest in business development
• Interest in development and improvement of processes
• Ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize among different work tasks, self-going
• Good negotiation skills
• Team-player with ability for individual work
• Previously experience in marketing
• Previously experience of working in product development projects with Chinese and European suppliers.
• Previously experience of working in Asian countries is preferred
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office
• Availability for extensive travelling required
