We are now looking for a Junior Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team within Axis' Corporate Marketing department.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Junior Product Marketing Manager is an entry-level role, focusing on efficient handling of launches of complementary or incremental products. We are looking for a well-organized individual with 1-2 years relevant work experience to strengthen or Product Marketing team.
Product Marketing is a team within Product & Solution Marketing, in Axis' Corporate Marketing department. Corporate Marketing is responsible for the global marketing strategy and planning, in accordance with the company's overall goals and business strategy.
Product Marketing secures bringing Axis' products to the market in a successful way, by expressing our technology offerings as clearly communicated customer benefits. We develop marketing strategies, material and activities that support sales and strengthen the Axis brand. The role of Product Marketing becomes more and more important in an increasingly competitive world.
As our product portfolio expands and the number of product launches increases, it becomes critical to find ways to efficiently handle different kinds of products. For example, we need to improve our handling of product launches which are not major launches, but which enhance and complement our offering in important ways.
We regard this Junior Product Marketing Manager position as a starter position with a focus on capable and efficient handling of new product launches. The Junior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for market launches of a selection of products. The Junior Product Marketing Manager will follow our product launch process and cooperate with other parts of the organization to develop marketing material.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop product marketing documents and deliverables, such as presentations, and photos, and writing short English marketing texts for e.g. press releases, newsletters and web pages.
• Interface with internal marketing teams to ensure up-to-date product information and timely distribution of product material.
• Contribute to our continuous improvement of the product launch process.
• Support central and local marketing teams concerning product messaging and communication around trade shows.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are well-organized and capable of managing projects and delivering results also under time pressure. You also have an outgoing and open-minded personality and good cooperation skills.
You have:
• An education in marketing
• 1-2 year of relevant working experience
• Fluency in English
• Competence in Microsoft Office (in particular when it comes to creating presentations)
• An interest for, and understanding of, technology
It is considered an advantage if you also have:
• Experience from marketing of technical products.
• Project leading experience
THE PRODUCT MARKETING TEAM
The Product Marketing team is responsible for bringing our products to market in a successful way, by expressing our technology offerings as clearly communicated customer benefits. We work closely with product management, business development and business management to develop marketing strategies, marketing material, campaigns and activities that support sales and strengthen the Axis brand.
