For our office in Bohus, Sweden, we are looking for a Junior Process Control Engineer , who will be an important part of system migrations and configurations for Akzo Nobel plants and customers. The department is growing and you will have the chance to develop your career and knowledge in a global setting, working with a wide range of process technology.

As Junior Project Manager and work with a wide range of smaller to larger investment projects.
Main responsibilities will be to:
Junior Process Control Engineer
As Process Control Engineer you will report to the Team Leader and Project Manager and work with a wide range of smaller to larger investment projects.
Main responsibilities will be to:
• Participate in larger and smaller projects in configurations and migrations of control systems in a wide range of processes including; chemicals, coating, polymer processes
• Be responsible for the sub project budget and to identify the resource need together with the Senior Process Control engineer and Project Manager
• Capable of sizing and designing of process automation, control systems and instrumentation
• Participate as design lead engineer at commissioning and start-up of plants
• Carry out training of the customers operations and maintenance staff
• Participate in safety analysis and other HSE activities
Who we are looking for
Process Control Engineer
• B.Sc. Industrial Automation or Process Control or similar
• 5 years of experience from configuration and migration of control and safety systems
• Knowledge in Risk assessment
• Ability to cooperate in teams
• Open to travel up to 100 days per year
• Good knowledge in English
• Experience of start up and commissioning of chemical plants is preferred
• Experience of Industrial Control Systems and Safety Integrity systems is preferred
• Knowledge in batch configurations and standards is a plus
