Are you a newly graduate or early in your work career and want to grow fast, learn and evolve together with a team of highly experienced members? Power Systems & Products is now looking for a Power Product Developer with an interest in power units and systems.
We work in agile teams with highly skilled colleagues and your tasks will vary to support the success of your team and Ericsson. Your main task will be to act as the technical responsible for the development of a power product, together with external suppliers. You will work in close cooperation with our global power system suppliers who will perform the design and manufacturing of the products. You will interact with several technical disciplines across Ericsson, such as Product Management, System, Mechanical, Thermal and Interconnect design. Co-operation with and communicating with external supplier's development and manufacturing sites all over the world will be done daily.
What you will do
Be responsible for specifying and systemizing the product to fulfill the stakeholder's request on cost, time and technology
Evolve and handle requirement to perform development through suppliers
Collaborate, lead and direct the designing suppliers
Be the technical responsible for the power product developed
Perform Pre-Development to investigate new technologies and products for business opportunities
Perform design verification to verify the ability and the systemization of the power product
Participate and/or drive system and architecture studies
Constantly work with improvements and continuous learning
You will bring
BSc or MSc degree or equal through work experience in the fields of Electronics, Physics or adjacent fields
An eager interest in product development generally and in power products specifically
Good English skills, written and oral
Good communications skills
Understand your development task in a business context and take business driven decisions
Work in an efficient and structured way, in an often-complex environment
Drive and take initiative and are willing to adopt new methods and techniques
Ability to lead and drive yourself to be fully accountable for your tasks and the team's overall commitments
To collaborate extensively with your colleagues in the team
Embrace the agile way of working in a hardware development context
