The majority of production takes place in Domsjö, but a significant part of production as well as all R & D takes place in Vallentuna. The main product lines that is produced and calibrated in Vallentuna is our Radiometer/Photometer, Apollo 2.0 UV-A and visible light meter and hand held UV lamps. But in this location, we also perform UV light measurements as per different client engineering specifications as well as specific unit tests and type test per different standards. We are now looking into expanding the R & D and production team in Vallentuna.
Physicist
RESPONCIBILITIES
Together with our Lab Manager, will you be work within the following areas:
Radiometer/Photometer:
• Calibration - Serial production: Perform calibration of the Radiometer/Photometer in serial production, together with the team.
• Calibration Process: Ensure that our process is accurate and in accordance with standards (i.e. ISO/IEC 17025) as well as other branch standards.
• R & D: Develop the next generation of our Radiometer/Photometer
UV and White light measurement:
• Units tests - serial production: Measure and test lamps from serial production and certify them due to specific engineering specifications.
• Type tests - R & D: Measure and test all new models before they are released to make sure we meet all requirements in the specific engineering specifications and safety standards we work according to.
New R & D Projects:
• Simulations: Be part of the R & D team and perform light simulations of different UV lamps as well as higher wavelengths.
Labino is a small company and everybody in the team has several responsibilities. This role requires that you are able to work serial production as well as R & D depending on the need.
COMPETENCE and EXPERIENCE
Competence required:
• Physicist with experience or education/training in Optics and light (seniority not required)
• English in spoken and written is mandatory (Swedish is not mandatory)
• Electronics
Additional competence that would beneficial for the company:
• Programing in C++ and smart phone software.
• Knowledge of Blue Tooth and PLC interfaces
