Your role
You will have your own tasks you will be responsible for, however this is a role where you collaborate a lot with people in our team. As an Mechanical Designer at Arrangement section at Saab Kockums, your focus will be on the design for submarines.
Main tasks are:
* Develop and maintain our product parts
* Piping
* Welding
* Requirements handling
Your profile
We are looking for you with a technical interest and some experience from above mentioned work tasks. If you are a person that can keep your cool even during stressful situations that's a favorable. To enjoy and be successful in this role, you need to like to be part of a team and collaborate with people as well as being able to build good and lasting relationships.
Required skills:
* Bachelor degree in mechanics
* Familiar with Creo or similar CAD-tools
* Knowledge about welding and piping
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
What you will be a part of
You will be part of a team of 20 skilled Mechanical Designers that is mostly responsible for new development of our submarines. Saab Kockums provides a great platform with learning opportunities.
