We are now looking for Junior Measuring Technicians in geometry.
Description
The Dimensional Management dep. is responsible for Geometry assurance from Creative design phase to approved car for delivery to customer. This means that our employees are included in target setting, virtual simulations and guidance during development in car projects.
We are now looking for Junior Measuring Technicians that will work closely within an experienced team to be able to get guidance and assistance towards becoming more independent and self-sustaining on the job. In return we think you will bring in new thoughts and inspiration to our team. In the physical phase we, as a team, are responsible for the measuring preparation, create measuring program and measure, both for analysis purposes and for the running production.
The requested position will be part of handling the expected workload during the manufacturing start up and ongoing measuring needs for new projects. Shift work can be requested.
The role involves;
• Operate CNC-CMM in Press/Body shop and laboratory environment,
• To conduct analysis and reports of measuring results,
• Short time assignment (1w-3 month) at other NEVS location or at external customer,
• Support development of processes and routines for the department.
We are looking for someone who has;
• Industrial Technology Program (Upper Secondary School), or equivalent experience,
• Knowledge of tools: MS Office, CAD is meritorious,
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written,
• Driver license B.
