Poolia, on behalf of Unibet, are looking for a skilled and highly motivated junior Java developer. You will be part of the development team working with multinational bookmaking systems, systems integration and development of consumer facing sites. The work will be with close cooperation with business stakeholders and integration is a natural part of the work environment.
The technical environment is Java and primarily oriented to Open Source technology. Applications are web oriented and frameworks like Hibernate, Spring and AJAX occurs frequently as well as other state of the art technologies. In general, the technical environment is of cutting edge technology and choices of future platforms vary on the needs and requirements.

You will be involved in all stages of the development process, from analysis, design and programming to implementation and testing. The technical environment is Java and Open Source and you will be looking at complex, highly transaction intensive web applications. You will be part of a small team of developers where the work is done according to the Agile development methodology SCRUM.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We require that you have an academic degree in a relevant field, for example in computer science. You have a keen interest in Java and system development, as well as exciting new technology in this field. You find scaling, high performance web applications, distributed development and open source as a very interesting area and want to learn more about complicated systems. Experience of development in Java as well as in a web context is something that you can demonstrate. Taking ownership and pride into everything you do comes natural to you.
Your profile:
• Proven Java developing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication, English is required
• Ability to understand technical values
• Knows about agile developing methodologies
• Different frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring
As a person you are a highly motivated team player with a mature and positive attitude and passion form working with advanced developing. Having Java as a hobby is positive.
