Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is looking for a Junior IT Support Technician for a period of 1-year full-time, with the possibility of an extension. The position is located at SIWI's offices in Stockholm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and provide service to the organization in IT-related issues (1st line support)
• Log, monitor and resolve cases in the helpdesk system
• User support for meeting technology / Setting up meeting rooms and technology at meetings
• Install computers (new units, virus-infected devices, etc.)
• Configure user devices
• Installing equipment at workplaces
• Maintain inventory and label purchased IT equipment
• Administer the password change for user password
• Take care of the broken equipment (debug, order / perform repairs, send units for repair)
• Answer questions from users
• Provide ongoing customer support

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Windows (8.1 and 10)
• Good knowledge of Office 2013/2016
• Good knowledge of networking (wired and wireless)
• English - fluent
• Swedish - good basic knowledge

Assets:

Basic knowledge of:
• PowerShell
• Office 365
• Windows Intune
• Windows Active Directory
• Windows Server 2012

SIWI is an organization whose purpose is to promote interest in research and development
around water by conducting internationally oriented research and education activities.
The organization participates in international water processes, conducts international research and advocacy activities as well as organize the annual World Water Week in accordance with the organization's purpose.
