hela Sverige We are now looking for a new buyer to join our clients Indirect Procurement team in Gothenburg. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Your main responsibilities in this role will be to lead the end-to-end products and services sourcing, and implementation of purchasing within the field of Design & Innovation. It will be within your scope to create and manage the right partnerships internally and with suppliers. You will report directly to a Senior Procurement Manager.
In summary you will be responsible for:
Perform procurement according to strategies that are defined in collaboration with your stakeholders.
Solve problems that may occur by involving the relevant cross-functional experts.
Actively support the business transformation and work for best class procurement initiatives to enhance standardized req-to-pay processes, order handling and follow up.
Define and take actions to improve contracts compliance, incl. conducting market analysis as well as supplier evaluations and audits.
Review purchase requisitions and identify and select contract/suppliers in accordance with defined strategies and agreements.
Advise stakeholders on procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stages of the procurement cycle as well as on modifications in requests.
Track supplier performance through regular and automated tracking of the quality, cost project deliverables across the network.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Educational background in economics, a technical discipline or similar.
Minimum of 1 years of work experience as a buyer, preferably from a global position/business. If you have worked in a tech company, it is regarded as an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages. Knowledge of Workdays software is an advantage.
Have excellent communications skills both written and spoken in English along with basic Swedish.

EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consultant assignment where you will be employed by OIO and be assigned to our client company, initially for a period of 6 months. The ambition is for the assignment to be extended and in the long term transferred to a permanent employment at the client company.
