About the Role
You will help build and maintain virtual HiL testing environments used to verify engines and driveline systems before physical testing in rig or field environments. The role combines software development, simulation, automation, and systems engineering, with a clear goal: making testing smarter, more efficient, and increasingly automated.
You will work in a collaborative engineering setting where you move between software, hardware, and system-level thinking. This is a strong opportunity if you want to grow in virtual testing, integration, and modern development methods while solving real technical challenges.
Job DescriptionYou contribute to robust and creative technical solutions for complex engineering challenges.
You develop and adapt simulation models and signal handling for virtual test environments.
You improve workflows, tools, and test environments to support verification, validation, and pre-testing.
You integrate virtual rigs, test tools, and ECU systems.
You troubleshoot technical issues and support day-to-day operation when needed.
You provide rig support to users and help colleagues make effective use of the virtual testing environment.
You work closely with stakeholders to turn needs into practical, reliable solutions.
RequirementsExperience in development within technical, automotive, engine, or test-related environments.
Good understanding of test automation, system integration, or model-based development.
Experience with one or more of the following: Python, LabVIEW, VeriStand, Git, Jenkins, MATLAB/Simulink.
Interest in HiL systems, ECUs, CAN communication, and real-time systems.
Ability to work in a structured way and manage several tasks in parallel.
Good communication skills in English.
A service-minded and collaborative approach, with a genuine interest in supporting users.
Ability to complete required background checks before start.
Nice to haveExperience from engine, vehicle, or testing environments.
Knowledge of model development, simulation, or real-time systems.
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.
Understanding of calibration, verification, and validation.
Strong competence in electrical engineering, signal conversion, mechatronics, or embedded systems.
Experience working with sensor and actuator signals, communication interfaces, or signal conditioning.
Familiarity with AI-based tools or methods used to support development, testing, or automation.
Experience working closely with users and translating needs into functional technical solutions.
