About the job
We are looking for a Junior Hardware Engineer to our talented R&D team. To build our renewable power solutions we need a hardware designer with focus on power converters, switches, BMS power electronics and power distributions. The role also includes participating in pre-studies of new applications and new technologies as well as supporting both internal and external stakeholders with technical expertise. The position is to be based at our office in Oskarshamn. Business trips will occur occasionally, both internationally and within Sweden.
Responsibility:
• Knowledge within AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters
• Design state of the art power converters in ranges 30V-1kV, 100W-500kW
• Design high-power solid-state switches
• Develop the team tools and methods together with the team
• Participate in process improvements and way of working
• Design modularized design blocks with re-use capabilities

A driven and pro-active person with a passion for hardware engineering, who constantly seeks new knowledge within the area.
Experienced from similar positions, and have an understanding of agile development as well as enjoys a fast-growing company environment.
Qualifications and experience:
• Strong interest in power electronics, switching, conversion and battery management
• Experience using application specific software
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and in writing
• Speak and understand Swedish
• Relevant higher education
• Swedish work permit
• Its a bonus if you have experience in batteries
