hela Sverige Join our skilled HW team in Västerås! Westermo is recruiting a Junior Hardware Designer!
We are looking for an eager HW Designer who really enjoys working with digital design. You like to work with system design and selecting components, as well as, doing hands on testing and verification in the lab.
In your daily work, you will be part of different development projects' teams. Your tasks will be in the full range of a development project, from specification to serial production. Preferably, you have 1-2 years' experience working with the entire process from design to verification and serial hardware deliveries.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you enjoy being part of a team, can share information and cooperate in a professional way. As a HW Designer at Westermo, you will be part of our dedicated HW team and will work with hardware design on new exciting robust network products for harsh environments.
The HW Design team, consists of 10 talented HW engineers designing and assuring quality of all hardware for Westermo products. This is a great learning opportunity for you to work with a very skilled and supportive team.

Minimum requirements
• Academic degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, or adequate work experience
• Very good knowledge in Swedish and English both written & spoken
Preferred qualifications
• 1-2 years' experience in digital design
• Experience or knowledge in FPGA / CPLD and VHDL design
