Machines is part of the business unit Motors & Generators within ABB's Motion business. The business unit develops, manufactures and sells synchronous AC motors and generators with output of around 3 MW and upwards for motor and generator applications.TasksAre you a problem-solving and a social candidate with a great interest in electrical design and/or control systems, then this may be the right opening. Your main task will be to design control panels for excitation systems for synchronous motors and generators. You will also support our sales team and work closely with the Product Manager and participate in meetings with clients both in Sweden and abroad. RequirementsExpectantly you hold a Master or Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Electrical Machines or Power Systems. You may have a couple of years experience from a similar role but may as well just finished your studies. We see it as a merit if you previously used or have worked with CAD-tools for electrical schematics.As part of a global organization, fluency in written and spoken English is a must. On a personal level you are open minded and always strive to understand customer requirements and to find the best possible solution, based on our unique concepts. You distinguish yourself with an analytical mind and an ability to make sound decisions regarding technical solutions.
