About the position
As a functional programmer at Cisco, you will work on solving challenging complex problems together with great and supportive colleagues. You will be part of a dynamic team and your role will be matched against a broad technology stack. You will work on building Cisco's automated platform and the tasks will include new development, customer management, and system administration.
About you
We are looking for someone analytical, communicative, and has a passion for functional programming. We believe that you have a degree in computer science, IT, software development, or equivalent. You are a team player, enjoy working with others, and are used to rapid changes. You have a keen interest in programming and are positive about a future within Cisco. To succeed in this role you are curious, inventive, and strive toward personal growth every day.
Requirements
• Interest in learning and developing further in Erlang.
• You have a genuine interest in functional programming and have good analytical skills
• The corporate language is English so you must have a good grasp of both spoken and written English.

Form of employment
The position is part of the Xameras Talent Program, which is Stockholm's, or perhaps Sweden's most attractive talent program. The Talent Program runs for twelve months with eleven full-day training sessions, where both technical and personal skills development will be covered.
