hela Sverige Are you a junior and ambitious Frontend Developer that would like to work with one of Sweden's largest Data Warehouses?
We are now looking for a Frontend Developer to our Business Intelligence Sales Store (BISS) team. The BISS team is maintaining and developing new functionalities for the system CDW, Corporate Data Warehouse. CDW is an H&M initiative to store and maintain a data warehouse for our Sales Store and Buying Office. The CDW system contains business information such as sales and stock data. The BI delivery area at H&M supports several different business functions and the BISS team is one of many teams within BI.
As a Frontend Developer within the BISS team you will get the chance to learn about H&M's core business and create reports that help the business make fast and accurate decisions within the Sales Store area. You will design and develop Cognos reports and analysis. You will also proactively suggest improvements or propose different possible solutions in close dialogue with our business representative and requirements analyst. All reports are developed in Cognos and the data source of the Cognos reports is either SSAS Cubes or the Netezza database. These are BI tools that you will have the chance to learn in your role.
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience from front end development and tools. You have a strong interest in getting to know our business and understanding their requirements and needs. You have the ability to get the job done and like to take on responsibility. Furthermore, you are thorough, analytical and dare to question and challenge. You strive to be a business smart IT person and enjoy working with data. You will be a part of an agile team that consists of a requirements analyst, a solution designer, ETL developers, Cognos developers and testers.
Your responsibilities
The job of an H&M front end developer comes with lots of responsibility and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:
• Designing and developing Cognos reports and analysis together with the requirements analyst and the business representative
• Analyze and evaluate use cases and change requests
• Estimate/assess the time required for development
• Propose and evaluate front end solutions and communicate the impact to stakeholders
• Prepare, coordinate and package new versions in target environments
• Write and update relevant documentation
• Assist in troubleshooting of reported incidents and problems
• Perform code reviews
Your skills
Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative, sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. And your skills include:
• 2 years of experience of report/front end development and working in agile projects
• You have worked closely with business and you have an understanding of how IT-solutions can support business processes
• Experience of MS Office
• Experience from reading requirements and/or solution design within BI
• Experience from BI reporting tools
• You have the ability to understand business needs and to communicate with representatives from the business
• Good communication skills, in English and Swedish
