Europe Finance will be the preferred business partner to support Stryker's mission, vision and promise in Stryker Europe. This will require Finance to focus on the basics of providing financial services and support, deliver value added finance service and support to Stryker Europe. It is Finance's responsibility to assist the business in taking unnecessary costs out of its healthcare delivery system, achieve better economies of scale in the utilization of resources and leverage activities across functions and geographies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Finance will be a best in class function, comprised of ethical, talented and engaged people, with efficient processes and effective controls that support our functions and customers.
This position will be supporting local finance with analysis, accounting review and reporting to both divisional level and to local business.
Key Activities
Financial reporting and analysis support:
Collect data for forecast, budget and sales reporting.
Preparation of the monthly management reports for the business area as assigned.
Follow up and investigate different request from local business and for divisional finance.
ROI calculation and analysis.
Discount calculations based on tender obligations.
Support with ME closing to secure deadlines.
Internal controls review for local finance so we are aligned with the central policies.
Support with implementation of local country related projects.
Strong cooperation with local AR teams for cash collections analysis and follow up.
Back up for local processes as needed.
Follow up on credit holds and action needed.
Align and track adhock statistical requirements and certificates for BNN that fall in under Country Finance.
Oracle finance support where local needs require.
Adhoc projects as assigned by CFL and Divisional finance Director.
Support during internal and external audits.
Qualification and Education
Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English. Any other European language is a plus
Graduate level Minimum 2 years of similar job experience, preferably in a multinational /American company or student undergoing business administration bachelor studies with first work experience through internships or the like.
Strong Excel skills
Adequate IT Knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office, Oracle). HFM and Danube an advantage
Used to working with tight deadlines
