hela Sverige Lawgent is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded individual who wants to combine finance, client responsibility and business development in a role with significant independence.
This is not a traditional Finance Assistant position focused solely on bookkeeping and administration.
At Lawgent, financial responsibility goes hand in hand with commercial responsibility. You will work with our financial operations while also managing your own clients, developing client relationships and contributing directly to revenue generation.
About the Role
As a Junior Finance & Business Associate, you will work across both finance and commercial operations.
You will gradually take responsibility for your own portfolio of clients and will be expected to independently develop those relationships and create measurable business value.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices and customer invoices
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and transaction reconciliations
Following up outstanding payments
Supporting payroll, financial reporting and closing activities
Coordinating with external accountants and auditors
Managing your own client relationships
Following up clients and identifying their business needs
Identifying new commercial opportunities
Contributing directly to sales and revenue growth
Using AI and automation to improve financial and administrative processes
How We Work
Lawgent operates on a principle of freedom with responsibility.
We do not believe in managers constantly monitoring whether employees are sitting at their desks between 08:00 and 17:00 or checking every individual task they complete.
We measure results.
You will therefore have considerable freedom, but that freedom comes with responsibility.

We want people who can take ownership of their own performance and success without requiring constant supervision.
Compensation Model
We want to be completely transparent before you apply.
During the first three months, this position does not include a guaranteed fixed base salary.
Instead, we operate a performance-based compensation model where you receive 8% commission on the business value generated from the clients and business you are responsible for, in accordance with our compensation model.
Following the initial three-month period, there is an opportunity to discuss a combination of fixed salary and commission, based on performance, results and the sustainable business value you have built.
This model is not for everyone, and we respect that.
If you are looking for a traditional position with a guaranteed fixed salary from day one, this opportunity is probably not the right fit.

Who We Are Looking For
You may have a background in accounting, finance, economics or business.
More importantly, you:
Are structured and analytical
Have a commercial mindset
Are comfortable communicating with clients
Are interested in sales and business development
Take initiative without waiting for instructions
Can work independently
Understand the relationship between customer value, revenue and financial performance
Want to develop quickly
Are comfortable working with Excel and modern digital tools
Communicate professionally in Swedish and English
Previous experience in finance, accounting, sales or client management is an advantage, but not necessarily required.

You will work closely with management and gain significantly broader commercial exposure than in a traditional junior finance position.
You will gain experience across finance, client management, sales, AI, automation and business development while progressively taking greater responsibility.
For the right person, the role can develop towards positions such as:
Finance Manager, Controller, Business Controller, Account Manager or CFO.
