We are looking for a Junior Embedded Developer to strengthen Lumenradio's development team. You'll be working in a scrum team together with other embedded software developers, building Lumenradios wireless IoT stack and operating system, Mira. The software is mainly written in C and runs on small embedded MCUs. Your task is to learn from, follow, and execute the entire software development cycle; from research to prototype to test to product. You will also be an interface to customers and help to support them.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
To succeed in this role, you need to:
Have a minimum BSc in Computer Science, Communications Systems, Electrical Engineering or similar field.Have programming skills, preferably C.Have excellent communications skills in English, both written and spoken.
The following are appreciated but not mandatory:
Experience of embedded programming, MCUs and Networking (OSI model, IPv6, routing, etc).Knowledge of agile practices, Python and electronics designKnowledge of wireless communication (BLE, zigbee, thread, LoRa, WiFi, etc).
As a person, we believe that you're a tinkerer that likes to solve everyday problems with technology. You possess a curiosity which drives you to try new things and learn outside the boundaries of your previous education. Be it new programming languages, soldering, or leadership techniques. A great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
