Job Description
As a Junior designer at Arket Womens RTW, you support the senior designers in developing loved products and the best assortment. This role includes working with a variety of womenswear garments. You work in tight collaboration with the rest of the team, always with the womens target customer in mind in order to maximize growth and profitability, short and long term.
Some of your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the planning, development and designing of the products and assortment
Participate in fitting sessions and drive all design related tasks for sample handling
Create and update tech packs, overviews, flat- and detail sketches
Constantly follow the selling and act on new tendencies as well as search for the new commercial fashion suited to our target customer
Qualifications
BA/MA Fashion/Textiles Design degree
Min 2 years full time working experience as a Junior/Assistant Designer
Knowledge in design and product development
Excellent Adobe suite and hand drawing skills, CLO3D is meriting
Genuine interest and always fully updated in global fashion and trends
Great knowledge of materials, fabrics, trims and strong eye for commercial on trend silhouette and shape
Strong salesmanship
A very driven self-motivator who sees only possibilities
Very structured with strong organizational skills and a methodical way of working
Eager to learn and develop both yourself and the people you work with
Strong communication skills and can take own initiatives
Fluent in English, both verbal and written (Swedish not necessary)
You share our global perspective and always act with a fully inclusive approach
Additional Information
