Job Description
The H&M Menswear Outerwear department is looking for a Junior Designer, who will be responsible for assisting the Senior Designer working with mainly woven outerwear products. Together with the rest of the team, you will be involved in developing the collections sold worldwide in all the H&M markets and omni channels. You will contribute with updated fashion insights for our target customer with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity and fully global perspective. High pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day. This is a big section with a large product group, so being a quick learner with good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes, is essential.We believe you have a genuine passion for menswear both from a commercial and aspirational standpoint.
Qualifications
Are you an experienced creative, passionate and professional JR Designer who would love to work with our Mens Outerwear concept? Then this might be the role for you!
We are looking for you who have:
A BA qualification in Fashion Design
A minimum of 2-3 years work experience as a JR Designer/ Design Assistant
Strong skills in and used to work at high speed in Adobe Suite programs
High level of technical drawings is required
CLO 3D work experience is meriting
Attention to detail and knowledge of woven materials are key
Good skills in pattern construction, cut and good eye for silhouette
A visionary mindset with true passion for men's current and future fashion trends
A strong customer focus and commercial mindset
Strong communication skills and true team player
A highly organized and structured work routine
Capacity to work in a very fast-paced and everchanging work environment
A strong self drive and can take own initiatives
