Job Description
Are you the right person to be a part of establishing the most loved retail lifestyle destination with quality, sustainability, and modernity at its core? Are you a Junior Designer who would like to develop your design skills further in our creative customer focused environment? In combination with great energy and communication skills, then you might be the one we are looking for!
As a Junior designer at our Kids department, you will be part of the collection team with the focus to create the best offer for our target customer. You are accountable for supporting the senior designer in developing loved products and assortment (OMNI). Work in tight collaboration with the design team, always with the target customer in mind to maximize growth and profitability, short and long term.
Some of your tasks and responsibilities includes, but are not limited to:
Assist the planning, development and designing of the assortment and products
Contribute to product range based on visual goal
Participate in fitting sessions and drive all design related tasks for sample handling
Create and update overviews, flat- and detail sketches
Constantly follow the selling and act on new tendencies as well as search for the new commercial fashion
Qualifications
Qualifications
Are a Junior Designer with a BA in fashion design minimum 1-2 years' work experience
Working experience as Junior/Assistant Designer within the commercial fashion business and kids wear area
Knowledge in design and product development
Technical knowledge of how products are created. How fabrics, materials, trims, and patternmaking create the best fit and design.
Have a strong sense of fashion forward trends and a good surrounding world analysis with a truly global perspective
Business sense and Salesmanship
A driven self-motivator who sees only possibilities
Experience working cross-functionally between several different departments
Eager to learn and develop both yourself and the people you work with
Strong communication skills and a positive can-do attitude
You bring a new/unique global perspective to our team
You have strong time management and organizational skills
Are flexible, open minded and positive
Can work at a high pace, unafraid of hard work in periods, high and low with no prestige
Always see possibilities, improvements and can inject and push new ideas to the team
Are a great communicator, unafraid to take a step forward and speak up?
Are a driven team player and can also work independently with a strong self-drive?
Have excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite programs and illustration and hand drawing skills
Fluent in English, both verbal and written (Swedish not necessary)
