Your future team are driving the shift as Traton Group 's provider of world leading technology for exhaust aftertreatment systems. They are working in an important and challenging area where they aims is to provide their customers with best in class products - "We make a difference and it 's fun!"
About the group
The position provides you to join the development of the next generations aftertreatment systems. You will be the eleveth memeber to is a helpful and competent team, working with early design concepts and prototypes as well as with mature designs and prototypes. The prototypes will then need to be verified and then industrialized. The group develops aftertreatment systems as well for their own trucks and buses, and for their worldwide colleagues within the Traton Group. It is a cross functional work environment, as the group are working closely together with purchasing, production, after market and of course suppliers.
Your role
As a design engineer in our team, you are not only developing a part of the truck, you are developing a complex system that needs to fulfil various product properties. Those are such as performance requirements, acoustics and durability. You will be part of the whole development process - from early technical concepts to mature prototypes and finally its industrialization.
You will work close to simulation and test engineers and together perform development iterations.
Your profile
In order for you to thrive as a design engineer within aftertreatment, we believe that you are creative, analytic and social structured person. You thrive in an environment involving many social contacts, and you enjoy working towards common goals. We also belive that you possess great communication skills, and are interested in working with simulation driven design. Other requirements for this position:
* B.Sc./M.Sc. in mechanical design, material technology, structural mechanics or equivalent
* The english language in both speech and in writing
Information about the position
Professionals Nord is looking for a Junior Design Engineer. You will work as a consultant through our staffing business, and the assignment stretches for 12 months. Our intentions are that you later will be employed by our client.
