We are looking for a Junior Database developer/Second Line Support Engineer. This is a split role where you will be a part of a highly skilled team and continue the development of Tradedoubler's future platform based on the very latest technology as well as you will work to provide support to TradeDoubler's markets across Europe. As a database developer you will together with your colleagues have the possibility to greatly influence the technical development and the development of our products. You will contribute in everything from implementation to test, maintenance and support of our Oracle database. As a Second Line Support, your job is to resolve support issues via email, informing First Line Support through a Tech Hub.
In the role you will need good knowledge of our system and work closely with Java and database developers. You are involved in ongoing projects for the improvement and streamlining of support work from First Line Support to Third Line Support.

Main responsibilities
• Continuously design, develop and deploy new services with focus on high availability, high performance, low latency and scalability in our Oracle database.
• Contribute as a member of a highly competent and cross functional team
• Create, run and optimize SQL queries against a live database
• Support colleagues with product related technical queries
• Generate custom reports for clients using SQL queries
• First line of analysis for bugs reporting
• Advice to clients on best practice, creation of new documentation where necessary
• Preparing and perform training/coaching sessions
• Be responsible for undertaking project work across the team - participation in reference groups, training and testing on new functionality etc.
Professional requirements
Required:
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Have initiative and enjoy working in a fast paced, client-focused environment
• Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle
• Programming experience from at least one language
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Beneficial:
• Writing, reviewing and/or testing Oracle PL/SQL code
• Git experience
• Using REST API:s from Postman or similar tool
• Understanding of XML/XSL and JSON document standards
• Basic understanding of digital marketing (CPL, CPA, CPM, CPC)
