We are now looking for a Junior Controller to join our Sweden finance team.
The role will be based in Stockholm-Arlanda Airport and consists equally of financial planning, record-keeping and financial compliance for the Sweden entity. That encompasses, Stockholm-Arlanda and Gothenburg-Landvetter airport, which the business is located in.
The role will also be sharing the responsibility with the Finance Manager and Financial Analyst of reporting to our Regional Finance Controller
MAIN DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITY:
Completion of monthly close procedures to trial balance stage.
Ensure Finance team's delivery for month end reporting in accordance with deadlines set.
Analyse monthly results against Budget and Forecast.
Insight into financial performance with recommended actions.
Preparation of weekly Flash Forecast.
Responsible for monthly Balance sheet reconciliation.
Support in preparation of Annual Budget and Forecast.
Focus on cost analysis and control.
Key role in Internal and External Audit
Preparation of Annual Reports.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Minimum of 2 years accounting experience in a professional environment.
Professional accountancy qualifications and knowledge of EU VAT regulations.
Knowledge of computerised accounting packages and ERP systems- Hyperion, RSMS, SUN.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FURTHERMORE HAS:
Good communication and diplomatic skills and ability to form internal and external business relationships.
Strong communicative skills, both written and spoken, in Swedish and English.
A flexible attitude to work, is self-motivated and disciplined.
A sense of detail and a desire to improve
Flexibility to travel and support for Scandinavia entities.
Hands-on practical approach to providing guidance and direction in a exciting and dynamic business environment.
Under the Airport Security Act we conduct background record checks on all employees.
Working Hours: Full time
Duration: Permanent (with 6 months' probation)
Start: as per agreement
