Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Controller to join our finance department at the Cochlear BAS headquarters located in Mölnlycke, Sweden. Reporting to the Manager, Finance Planning and Analysis, this role works with CBAS departmental managers, project managers and the global planning team located in Sydney. You are responsible for coordinating the quarterly financial forecast, act as finance business partner to assigned departments and development projects, and perform commercial and financial analysis in line with the CBAS priorities.
In this permanent role you'll have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to Cochlear's successful history of innovation by applying your experience of planning and reporting in the monthly, yearly and strategic planning, and in the monthly follow up. You will also perform different analysis and reports, both standardised analysis and new models as assigned. You have a drive to change and improve processes and customer outcomes, and are able to navigate in a dynamic environment with different stakeholders.
Key Requirements
• University degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 3-5 years experience from financial planning or reporting, or audit background
• Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset
• Knowledge in financial analysis concepts such as DCF, Free Cash Flow, EVA
• Good skills in extracting and analysing data from systems such as ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and BI (e.g. Hyperion, Business Objects)
• Strong skills in financial modelling using MS Excel and skilled in MS PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and high integrity
• Fluent in Swedish and English
