Deal Strategy
Deal Strategy's offering covers the entire deal process, from setting the strategy to performing post-deal support, involving both data-driven analysis and client interactions. Our projects include but are not limited to:
- M&A strategy and implementation
- Divestment/carve-out strategies and assessments
- Carve-out and post-merger integration planning
- Due diligence (e.g. Commercial, Operational, ESG)
- Operational strategy
- Operational model design
- Synergy and value creation assessments
What do we offer?
As a junior consultant in Deal Strategy, you will have the opportunity to work in various projects ranging between our two main competence areas: Integration & Separation and Deal Strategy and Value creation. Deal Strategy is considered a focus department at KPMG with high growth ambitions where you will play an active role in defining and shaping our future. As part of the team, you can expect a steep learning curve where you will have client exposure from day one and the possibility to become more specialized in a competence area of choice as you develop within the team.
You will receive guidance from senior team members with years of experience in deals consulting and learn our tools and methods working alongside them. Through the work, you will improve your leadership skills and gain deep knowledge about our capabilities and delivery models within the deal sphere. Working at KPMG you will be assigned a people manager to guide you through your journey by setting personal development goals, which may include trainings, international exchange, and internal engagements.

Ideally, you possess most of these personal strengths:

- Like to drive results by taking responsibility, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion with high quality, striving to achieve challenging goals and demonstrating a strong drive to follow through on initiatives
- Thrive in a team setting, establishing open, trusting relationships with team members, leaders, clients and fostering strong networks across the KPMG network
- Are open to new situations and can overcome challenges by maintaining an optimistic demeanor and collaborating with the team as necessary
- Continually seek self-improvement and identify new developmental opportunities
Additionally, you:
- Will graduate in Spring 2024 with a Master's degree or Double Bachelor's degree
- Have specialized in, Business (Finance, Management, Business administration, Economics) or Engineering (Industrial management/engineering & management, engineering physics or engineering mathematics) or an equivalent field
- Possess professional working proficiency or higher in English
- Are fluent in Swedish
