We are now looking for a Junior Cloud Infrastructure developer to join our team! Our unit provides a secure cloud and development environment, offering modern on-demand services to help Ericsson Development Unit Networks scale and grow.
The team is responsible to design, develop and maintain our cloud-based development and test environment. We make sure security standards are followed and that user expectations on performance and availability exceeds expectations. Collaborating across the organization and striving for improvements are important factors for reaching our vision to improve everyday life for our developers!
You are analytical, well structured, cooperative and driven. You will find creative solutions when lacking information and act outside your formal area of responsibility when needed.

What you will do
Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure services for Ericsson developers.
Work with both Openstack, OpenShift based Infrastructure and external Cloud service providers (e.g. Azure, AWS and GCP).
Build, operate and support scalable, redundant environments.
Improve existing infrastructure by incorporating the newest technology, adapt to standardized methodology practices and cross application integrations.
Have day-to-day collaboration with developers and QA teams.
Contribute to craft and roll out a modern monitoring and alerting system using cloud monitoring tools.
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Work with continuous improvements of products, services and processes.
You will bring
Degree in Computer Science and/or Telecommunication.
Knowledge in different cloud concepts (e.g. Openstack, OpenShift, Docker/Kubernetes).
"Hunger" for gaining hands-on experience with Cloud technologies.
Knowledge in Linux administration and optimization.
Automation skills (by using e.g. Python, Bash, or other comparable scripting language).
Knowledge in networking (TCP/UDP, ICMP, and DNS, etc.), OSI Layers, infrastructure services, and security.
Great teammate, who enjoys sharing knowledge and taking initiatives that will contribute to team success.
