hela Sverige We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and forward thinking Junior Buyer to join the buying department of one of the fastest growing e-commerce retailers in the Nordics! Do you want to join?
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Junior Buyer, you will be a part of Babyshop Buying team and work closely with mostly our Buyer and Purchasing Manager within fashion. Together you will manage the product selection and buying strategy for specific brands. You will play an important role to maintain and develop the relationships with our vendors. More specifically you will, for example:
• Attend buying meetings and assist the buyer with product selection, product ranking and adhoc analysis
• Assist Buyer in negotiations
• Manage NOS and Seasonal Basic assortments to keep stock levels in line with demand and department/company strategy
• Pull and analyze weekly sell-thru reports to review brand performance, determine stock risks and maximize opportunities through potential reorders
• Conduct competitor analyses for price and assortment
• Follow-up and negotiate deliveries to ensure timely delivery on all products
• Keep a high level of trend awareness
• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure seasonal collections and drops are launched on-time and with all the required focus
• Collaborate with warehouse, photo and copy teams to assure the timely and accurate upload of products
On a day to day basis we expect you to work proactively and continuously be on the lookout for strong brands through on-line research and attend local/international fairs.
You will also develop our Buying assistant(s) and interns in conjunction with the buyer and also create and maintain purchase orders together with them.
WHO ARE YOU?
We are looking for a person who has/is:
• A bachelor degree in Fashion/Retail Management and or experience as a store manager, buyer or buying assistant in a fashion company
• Proficiency in using MS Excel (and other MS Office programs)
• Vast knowledge of the of the Asian market as well as a global perspective
• Proficient in English
As a person, you have strong analytical skills and are extremely well-organized. You are methodical and efficient with the ability to self-motivate and drive initiatives. A strong attention to details while having a great networking and negotiation skills is also important to succeed is this role.
To improve Babyshop's position in the market we also want you to be an initiative person who comes up with improving ideas for great development.
