Job Description
This is a general ad for all current and upcoming Jr Buyer position within the H&M Group's different brands - Monki, Weekday, Arket and &Other Stories. Regardless of which brand you work for you will be part of a tight team including Buyers, Designers, Pattern Makers, Controller and Section Head. Together as a team, you are responsible for the entire work process of building and developing a collection that will be sold in all our sales countries - all over the world. Your work will focus on developing the most current and commercial products at the best possible price in a sustainable way.
As a Junior Buyer, you will team up with a Buyer and assist with a great variation of daily tasks. It will include everything from assortment planning, sample handling with continuous fittings, be in daily contact with the production offices to give suggestions on materials, fabrics and trims. As Jr Buyer you will also follow up and monitoring orders and do quantification of orders. You will also use your analytical skills to follow up on sales and with a sharp business sense you are able to see opportunities for growth and profitability.

Qualifications

Minimum one (1) year of experience of buying in fashion retail
Textile or buying education
Fashion vision and eye for commercial trends
Analytical skills and are able to turn analysis into action
Problem-solving skills
Goal oriented
Strong salesmanship and sees opportunity for growth and profitability
Natural team player
Ability to adapt to change
Great communication skills
