We are now looking for Junior Back End and Full Stack Java Developers to join the team within Driver Times Management, and Diagnostics & Service Planning.

Consumer Services at Volvo Group Connected Solutions is responsible for the end user services, from idea to development and operation. Together with partners and customers, Volvo Group Connected Solutions create value through fantastic user experience and business enhancing services and products.
The role
Your main responsibility is to develop new software applications together with your team, customers and partners and work with continuous improvements regarding efficiency, quality, functionality, cost effectiveness, environmental aspects (such as fuel consumption), and safety. You work with agile methods, and your work will cover a broad spectrum: all the way from developing prototypes of future world class applications to managing the lifecycle of the existing ones.
Further on, you will:
Deploy, operate, and maintain the teams' applications incl. driving continuous improvementActively contribute to the solution design of new servicesContinuously reflect upon how things are done and where improvements can be made
Your profile
We are looking for Java Developers with excellent analytical skills, great at problem-solving, passionate about technology and who loves developing software applications. It is important that you share the teams' passion for adding value to customers. The teams' key principles are to act, invent, and help each other to succeed. As a person, you are not limited to take on development tasks, which means that you are willing to help where needed within testing, scrum master or other tasks. You are curious about everything and have a "can do" attitude.
Your personality and attitude are of great importance, but we see that you have:
A university degree in software engineering, computer science or similarExperience within application development (we also recognize experience through own hobby projects Skills and knowledge in JavaFluent in English & Swedish - both written and spokenReact, Spring Boot and GraphQL and Linux is a plus
