How might one day at work look like?
The Legal & Corporate Affairs Department in Western Europe has employees from numerous nationalities and backgrounds. Employees are based in subsidiaries in most parts of Europe. The team members include commercial attorneys, government affairs representatives, compliance attorneys, paralegals and administrators.
Our client is looking for a junior attorney (commercial lawyer) who will be based in the subsidiary in Sweden. The Junior Attorney will be part of the Western Europe legal team and report directly to the Swedish subsidiary attorney. The role is split 50/50 between LCA Western Europe and LCA Sweden. This means that the Junior Attorney will also receive work instructions from the Head of Legal WE who is also located in Sweden.
Day-to-day activities:
Assist internal clients to complete or assess agreement templates (i.e. terms and conditions for prize contests)
Guide internal clients to internal tools
Reroute questions to correct contact
Asses legal risk and provide legal advice, counsel and interpretation for internal clients.
Internal compliance and policy assessments.
Conduct research on precedents regarding privacy law, international law and other corporate matters as required.
Administrative work
Qualifications:
You have a Swedish law degree and might be newly graduated or with 1-2 years' work experience in the legal profession. The person we are looking for is thorough and well organized with attention to detail and fluent in Swedish and English in written and spoken. You are a team player with a non-prestigious approach and you are interested in learning. If you are passionate for IT and have a law degree with excellent grades you have an advantage.
What do we offer?
You will be employed as a consultant by Adecco Finance & Legal. This assignment will start i the begning of December and will last until beginning of summer 2016 with for the right person, a god chance to extend.
