About the position
Your task as an Application Engineer will be to strengthen our ability to install, develop and test automation solutions together with our customers. You will also be teaching and developing our e-learning offer together with our global organization. You will become an expert in the use of our products and will have a wide network of contacts with our customers and within Kollmorgen. Since we do have customers all over the world, this position will involve traveling. You will be located at our office in Mölndal, Sweden.
In your daily work you will:
• Installing, developing and testing automation solutions.
• Teach and develop e-learning offers.
• Be an expert in the use of our products - the link between our customers and R&D.
• Support through our Help-desk.
• Hands-on work in the test area, e.g., with programming or electrical and mechanical settings.
We are looking for you
To be successful in the role, you are outgoing, structured, hands-on, and like to work independently as well as in a team - no two days are alike. You are a person who wants to be engaged in daily work and priorities. Taking the initiative to use new skills and continually improve your performance comes natural to you.
It is crucial that you are able to travel for periods up to 3 weeks.
Must have
• Engineering degree within mechatronics or other similar education
• Handy ability shown through previous hands-on practical experience besides work/study
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Basic knowledge of a high-level programming language
• Driving license B
Meritorious
• Experience of C#, C, C++ or PLC programming
• Experience of customer contacts
• Other languages than English is considered a merit
A major emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
