Klarna recently signed the 10.000th merchant and has an ever-expanding store portfolio in all of our six market regions. A fundamental condition for monitoring these merchants is that we constantly evolve the tools used and have a skilled staff with the knowledge and ability to make quick and tough decisions. As a Junior Analyst you will be a part of this highly committed team within the newly established department Risk Management and contribute to Klarna?s continuing growth in Europe.
Analysts at Risk Management are specialized in understanding and managing a wide variety of merchant risks. As a junior analyst in this team you will be trained in reviewing and solving risk issues related to merchants on a case basis. You are expected to analyze a variety of different kinds of data, recognize patterns and make decisions in a fast pace. As you become more experienced you will perform research, focus on improving tools and review methods (machine learning, root cause analysis etc.) and participate in cross organizational projects.
We are looking for you who:
• Is about to, or just recently graduated with a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in engineering or economics
• Have worked alongside your studies and/or have acquired other experiences through extracurricular activities.
• Are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and oral.
• Have a strong interest in technology and are a fast learner.
We like you a little bit extra if you have:
• Work experience related to this position, or experience from eCommerce.
• Previous experience in coding/programming, either from your spare time or at work, and knowledge in SQL database.
You are highly committed in everything you do and you are willing to go that extra mile if needed. Your analytical ability makes you able to identify and structure the problems you encounter and turn them in to clear recommendations. You can independently carry out your task, take own initiative and be thorough and organized in your daily work.
