We establish, administer, and operate fund structures within both the AIFM and UCITS directives: offering tailored solutions for reporting, compliance, risk management, accounting, and more.Job descrptionAIF Management AB is looking to fill a junior analyst position to play an active role in both business areas of fund administration and risk management. Administrative tasks consist of daily NAV calculation, trade reconciliation, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, invoice management, and more. Additionally, the analyst will support the risk function directly in establishing and implementing adequate risk management policies for private equity funds that enables the AIF-manager to monitor, measure and manage relevant risks. He/she will be responsible for providing the risk function with documentation and data regarding the operation and administration of funds under management while assisting with the overall organization of various fund implementation projects. The analyst will need to build on a pre-existing knowledge of Swedish and EU regulation financial regulation in order to help the firm consult private equity/venture capital firms on fund structuring.Required skills:- Minimum 2 years work experience in finance, preferably in a fund administration role.- Native English language speaker with Swedish language aptitude- Calculating NAV for UCITS and AIF funds, using multiple platforms such as Secura and Bricknode.- Knowledge of applicable EU/Swedish financial regulations such as the AIFM-Directive (2011/61/EU), Lag (2013:561) om förvaltare av alternative investringsfonder, and the Mutual Funds Act (2004:46)- Experience in basic risk and portfolio analysis; assessing the holdings of a fund to guide a portfolio manager on optimal investment strategy and designing stress tests for mutual funds and private equity funds risk management.- Must be familiar with fund structuring and implementation and have a strong theoretical knowledge of investment strategies and accounting principles.Required education:- A bachelors degree in business administration with a focus in finance and/or accounting from a US institution.- A masters degree in business from a Swedish based institution
